Dutchmans is a growing Boutique Furniture and Interior Design store. As a casual living store we offer design services, home furnishings, accessories and a wide range of gifts. Customer service is a priority and keeping the store stocked with merchandise is key. There are 5 stores and each has a motivated team that works together in achieving monthly goals.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Loads and unloads goods and supplies ensuring proper handling at all times
- Moves goods within the warehouse as needed
- Ensures cleanliness and proper stocking of inventory within the warehouse and retail shop
- Follows all safety protocols and procedures
- Required to make deliveries or pick up products and return to the warehouse using a company vehicle.
- You will be required to lift and load furniture up to 300lbs (w/ help) and accessories at our warehouse and store location.
- We are always organizing, cleaning and doing what is necessary that is required for the task at hand.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge And Ability Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of comparing and reading product descriptions, names and shelf labels.
- Must possess basic mathematical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
- Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
- Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
- Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
- Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem solving skills.
- Drivers license is required w/ good driving record.
Work Location: Athens location. Light travel may occur depending on customer delivery locations.
Work Remotely: No
Schedule: Must be available on weekends, some holidays and be able to work 8 hour day shifts.
