Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team as a Drapery Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our drapery sales efforts, driving revenue growth, and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with a strong understanding of market trends and customer preferences. What’s needed for this position is someone who can take our drapery offerings to the next level of growth by introducing innovative designs, enhancing product quality, and implementing effective sales strategies. This candidate should possess expertise in window treatments, drapery, and related soft furnishings. Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance and assistance to customers in selecting window treatments, drapery, and soft furnishings to complement their home decor.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their unique style preferences, functional needs, and budget constraints.
• Conduct on-site consultations to measure windows accurately and offer personalized recommendations tailored to each client's space.
• Develop and present creative design proposals, including fabric swatches, hardware options, and customizations.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and installation of window treatments.
• Stay informed about industry trends, product innovations, and emerging technologies in window treatment design.
• Assist in merchandising and maintaining the window treatment display areas within the store, ensuring a visually appealing and inviting shopping environment.

Requirements:

• Passion for textiles, window treatments, and home decor.
• Strong knowledge of various window treatment styles, fabrics, and hardware options.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Detail-oriented approach to measuring and specifying window treatments accurately.
• Creativity and a keen eye for design, with the ability to visualize and present solutions effectively.
• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and learn from others in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Previous experience in window treatment sales or design is preferred but not required.
